ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Before handing the goods over to a driver, our clients are asked to:

provide the required transportation documents
prepare cargo for transport (protection against damage, assigning fastening points)
in case of the need for customs clearance – complete formalities and pay fees in a customs house
organize the loading and unloading of goods

The driver, after receiving the shipment and documents is responsible for their safe delivery to the destination.

Therefore, each driver:

has the appropriate qualifications to carry goods
has the appropriate number of belts necessary to securely attach the goods
checks if the shipment is properly prepared for transport, meaning if it is protected against damage (eg. shrink-wrapped or placed in a box) and has fastening points
checks the conformity of the goods with the shipping documentation
in the absence of such compliance requests making new documents or corrects the existing documentation
shows how to safely put goods in the cargo area
